Local elementary school teacher and children’s author Vincent Taylor will present his 5th Annual Cornbread Children’s Reading Conference at the Schultz Learning Center on April 13th. Through a partnership with Communities In Schools, the event will attract over 300 enthusiastic Duval County Public School students as they engaged in a fun-filled and highly interactive presentation that focuses on reading strategies. This couldn’t have come at a better time with students preparing to take their FSA (state assessment) the beginning of May.
