Agape Lauds Healthcare Advocates at 2025 Awards

AGAPE Family Health proudly hosted its 2025 Agape Awards Breakfast at WJCT Studios. This special event celebrated the dedicated volunteers, and community partners who tirelessly support the health and well-being of our neighbors.

The AGAPE Awards Breakfast brings together healthcare professionals, community leaders, and advocates to celebrate outstanding achievements and foster collaboration toward a healthier, more equitable future. The morning was filled with inspiration, gratitude, and recognition. “Our awardees have made remarkable contributions to the medical field and to the lives of those they serve,” said Mia Jones, CEO of AGAPE Family Health.

“We are proud to honor them as true champions of health and wellness in our community.”

This years awardees were: Susan Towler (Florida Blue Foundation for her leadership in supporting health initiatives), Dr. Olayemi (Yemi) Sokumbi, M.D., (a renowned dermatologist and dermatopathologist at Mayo Clinic, for her commitment to ensuring that even those without insurance receive specialty care), Marica Pendjer, (Pink Ribbon Jax for her advocacy and community outreach) and a special posthumous award presented in memory of Pastor Brian Campbell, past chairman of the Agape Board, honoring his legacy of service and compassion.
