In his new role, Shine will oversee the hotel’s financial operations and strategies, supporting operational excellence, maximizing profitability and contributing to the overall guest experience.

Shine is a graduate of the University of Houston and began his hospitality career at the front desk of Hyatt House Houston. During his time with the property, he earned multiple promotions, including sales coordinator, front desk supervisor and assistant general manager II.
Shine later transferred to Hyatt Place Houston Sugar Land as assistant general manager. His career eventually transitioned to finance when he joined Thompson Savannah as assistant director of finance, where he was quickly promoted to director of finance. Most recently, he served as complex director of finance for Hyatt Centric Buckhead and Hyatt Centric Midtown in Atlanta.
