The FLAJAX Club, one of Jacksonville’s longstanding civic and professional organizations, celebrated nearly a century of leadership and fellowship Saturday with its annual summer outing, taking members to Brunswick, Georgia, for a luncheon aboard the Emerald Princess.

Despite choppy waters, members enjoyed an afternoon of networking, camaraderie and fellowship as the organization continues its 97-year tradition of community service and professional development.

“This is what fellowship is all about,” said FLAJAX Club President James Andrews, noting the organization is approaching its 97th anniversary.

Founded to promote business development, mentorship, higher education and community leadership has spent decades fostering professional relationships while supporting civic engagement and business-to-business opportunities throughout the Jacksonville area.

The organization will continue its anniversary celebration with its 97th Annual Christmas Ball on December 19, 2026, a signature Jacksonville social event that has become one of the clubs longest standing traditions.
