Three members of the Zeta Amicae of Jacksonville Auxiliary Sylvia Bryant, Dahlia Miller, and Merle Wright, were honored at the inaugural State of Florida Zeta Amicae Leadership Conference. Sylvia Bryant received the State of Florida Amicae of the Year Award for outstanding leadership and service and Dahlia Miller was named Zeta Amicae of Jacksonville Queen after contributing over $1,000 toward state scholarships, supporting future generations. Merle Wright earned the 2026 State of Florida Amicae Military Recognition Award for her distinguished service and dedication. Zeta Amicae was officially established in 1948 as the auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. to support its mission and expand community service efforts.
Through volunteerism, fundraising, and mentorship, Amicae members continue to uphold the legacy and values of the organization while strengthening community ties and expanding opportunities for service.
