Media Advisory: Florida Voting Rights Groups Celebrate New Early Voting Site With Duval Supervisor of Elections

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida voting rights groups, in partnership with the Family Stability Program of FOSCI (Strength in Civic Voices), are hosting an in-person party on Saturday, April 25, to highlight the opening of a new early voting location at the Dallas James Graham Branch Library first requested last year. The event will take place at the office of Families of Slain Children, located at 2212 Myrtle Ave N in Jacksonville. Harriett Tubman Freedom Fighters canvassed over 1,800 doors in the surrounding neighborhoods to promote this celebration.
Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland will be in attendance to talk about the importance of the new early voting site. Come join us for a community-wide event celebrating the opening of the early voting site, civic pride and community power.
This is a nonpartisan civic engagement event focused on voter education, access, and community connection. There will also be music, free food, community vendors, and voter education resources.
