PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla – THE PLAYERS Championship and the PGA TOUR are proud to continue their deep-rooted commitment to honoring and supporting military service members, veterans, and their families—especially those who call Northeast Florida home. Tournament week will feature a full slate of military appreciation initiatives, beginning with the Military Job Fair and Operation Shower.
WHAT: Saturday, March 7 – Military Job Fair (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
In partnership with the Jacksonville Military Veterans Coalition, THE PLAYERS will host its 15th annual Military Job Fair, providing career opportunities for service members and their spouses.
- Free and open to all military service members and spouses
- Over 30 companies with active job openings will be onsite
- Optum will provide complimentary professional headshots for attendees
- Business casual attire recommended; participants are encouraged to bring copies of their resume

Sunday, March 8 – Operation Shower (12 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
THE PLAYERS will once again partner with Operation Shower to host a special baby shower celebrating military moms-to-be.
- Guests will enjoy lunch, inspirational guest speakers, raffle prizes, and interactive games
- Expectant moms will receive essential gifts and baby care items

Tuesday, March 11a.m. – Donation to Operation New Uniform
Comcast Business will present a $25,000 donation to Operation New Uniform, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans transition after their time in service.
- Veterans and representatives from Comcast Business will be available for interviews
Tuesday, March 11 – Military Appreciation Ceremony (4:30 p.m.) & Concert by Ludacris (5 p.m.)
THE PLAYERS will host its Military Appreciation Day ceremony at 4:30 p.m., featuring a national anthem performance by painter and vocalist Joe Everson, who will paint live while singing. The ceremony will also include a flyover by the 125th Fighter Wing, remarks from America 250 Commissioner Joe Crowley, a heartwarming surprise and a closest‑to‑the‑pin contest featuring representatives from all service branches.
Immediately following the ceremony, hip hop legend Ludacriswill take the stage for a special concert at 5 p.m.
