Annual Food Fight Takes a Bite out of Hunger

The 25th Annual Jacksonville “Foodfight” was held at the EverBank Field Touchdown Club East on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Each year, volunteers representing the local restaurant community host “The Jacksonville FOODFIGHT.” The event features some of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants and beverage wholesalers/distributors. Everyone comes together to “take a bite out of hunger” by raising funds and awareness for the Nourishment Network. Each participant is provided booth space to hand out small tasting portions of the signature dish or cocktail of their choice. Guests attend the event and enjoy the samplings provided by the best in the industry.  Live entertainment was provided by Jacksonville favorite, The Band Be Easy.
