Florida’s Black Chambers Announce 2026 Black Chamber Day & Legislative Summit Fifth Anniversary Convening to Unite Business Leaders and Policymakers in Tallahassee | TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Association of Black Chambers of Commerce announced today that the2026 Black Chamber Day & Legislative Summit will take place February 2–3, 2026, in Tallahassee, marking the fifth year of this statewide convening focused on leadership, economic opportunity, and legislative advocacy.

The summit will bring together chamber presidents, small business owners, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, professional associations, advocacy groups, and policymakers from across Florida for two days of learning, networking, and collective action.

The milestone anniversary will celebrate five years of unity and |progress while strengthening collaboration between the business community and state leadership.

 

Programming will begin on Monday, February 2, with educational sessions exclusively for Chamber Presidents, followed by an evening welcome reception celebrating five years of impact and partnership. On Tuesday, February 3, attendees will participate in Legislative Advocacy Day and a luncheon, engaging directly with lawmakers to discuss key bills, policy priorities, and strategies that impact businesses and communities statewide.

 

“This fifth year represents a powerful moment for Florida’s Black Chambers,” said Shaheewa Jarrett Gelin, Esq., Founder of the Association. “We are bringing leaders together not only to network and learn, but to ensure our collective voice continues to shape policies that support small businesses, economic development, and equitable growth across Florida.”

 

Participants are encouraged to attend with their members, advocacy committees, and organizational leadership, particularly those impacted by legislation emerging from Tallahassee. The summit also provides opportunities for legislators to share insight on the legislative process, priority issues, and effective advocacy.
