Jazz artist Brian Culbertson was on the stage inside the Florida Theater for a smooth jazz jam session this past weekend to release Duval from their Covid state of mind.  Hitting the tunes on his preferred instruments of the synthesizer, piano and trombone, Culbertson and his band set the stage ablaze. Culbertson started playing piano at age 8, drums at 9, trombone at 10, and bass in 7th grade. Culbertson has received numerous awards including a NAACP Image Award nomination for Best Jazz Album; a Soul Train Award nomination for Best Contemporary Jazz Artist; and a collaboration  with  Earl Klugh for the 2010 Canadian Smooth Jazz Award for Best International Artist. Shown is Culbertson autographing a CD for fan Event Planner Michelle Cohen.
