    The Sigma Pi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. held a Neophyte Presentation and luncheon last weekend.
    This historic event celebrated the inaugural group of initiates into the fraternity through the chapter located in Orange Park, Florida.  After completing a rigorous membership development process, eighteen gentlemen were presented to the capacity crowd at the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel. Keynoting the address was Bro. Rev. Dr. Herman “Skip” Mason, the 33rd General President of the fraternity, provided the keynote address.
    Chartered in 2019, Sigma Pi Lambda is already making its mark on the First Coast through the SPLendid Gents Mentoring Program, Back to School events and clothing drives.
    Founded in 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men.
