Christ Episcopal Church of Ponte Vedra Beach hosted the National Association for Veterans to honro 10 community veteran advocates in a special recognition ceremony. The 3rd annual 2016 Pillars of Success Awards’ theme was entitled a “Salute to Service.” Elim Community Outreach, Inc. sponsors the annual awards’ event to salute the service members and veterans for their community service. Dr. Vonna Milligan, founder, said “the awards’ program recognizes and honors individuals who give of their time, talents, and resources to positively impact organizations and the lives of many individuals. Pillars of Success are the cornerstones of the community and actively pave the way of success for others.” Pictured are the 2016 award recipients Tillis Q. DeVaughn, Tyrinda Dixon, Charlotte Gass, Annie Grogan, Scott LaRochelle, Ronald Lipton, Theo N. McCaskill, Annie McCaleb Smith, Veronica L. Tutt, and Andrea Visconde. The National Association for Veterans and Families received an award for their community service to veterans.
