Valor and Virtue Academies Open School Year Ready to Lead by Example

Valor Academy, the first all male college prep school in Jacksonville, enrolled 140 young men in their Northwest location in its inaugural year in 2014. The young scholars scored multiple speech and debate victories on local, state and national level and more than 70% of students achieved academic growth in reading and math. Doors opened this week with students outfitted in their uniforms and trademark blazers eager to execute their academic aptitude and achievements. PROFECTUS Learning Systems is responsible for launching Valor Academy of Leadership and its sister school, Virtue Arts and Science Academy with the goals of preparing underserved students for college, shaping character, developing leadership, and creating critical thinkers.

The college-prep, tuition-free public charter school for females focuses on the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). The mission of Valor and Virtue Academies is to educate and transform scholars from kindergarten to high school graduates into leaders and contributors of the world.
