William Lindburgh Turpin, Jr. and Lynette (Lynn) Jones exchanged vows over the Labor Day weekend at their northside home in a solemn ceremony officiated by Rev. Bettye Pittman. The African themed occasion was completed with the tradition of jumping the broom and witness by thier special invited family and friends. was held in the privacy of their Northside home with close family members and friends. The groom is a 1971 graduate of Raines High School and a retired Commercial Engineer from Merita Bakery. Lynn is a Detroit native and is the Associate Editor with the Jacksonville Free Press and Producer of the Lynn and Friends media website and show.
