At this point no one should be surprised that Donald Trump has serious issues with Black people, especially those who speak out against his buffoonery and the divisiveness of his administration.
Last week, the man continued to show his true colors. Not only is he immature – lashing out at those he disagrees with via Tweeter, but he is also a straight up bigot that consistently challenges the intellect of minorities and women.
Instead of getting some rest or even working on domestic or foreign policy, the dude was up at 11 pm tweeting about LeBron James’ recent CNN interview. He wrote, “Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”
Lemon, a CNN anchor, was interviewing James about the school he had just opened in his hometown of Akron for at-risk students. What is interesting is that not at one time did Trump acknowledge that James had done something extraordinary by partnering with the Akron school district to change lives. Not only did James help to build a state of the school, he’s also guaranteeing college scholarships to every child that graduates to Akron University.
Kudos to King James – as Barbara Jordan once said, “Education remains the key to both economic and political empowerment. That is why the schools charged with educating African Americans have perhaps, the greatest, the deepest challenge of all.”
James has been a critic of Trump and even campaigned for Hilary Clinton, which probably is the real reason The Donald made his comments. During the CNN interview, James said, “We’re in a position right now in America, more importantly, where the race thing has taken over because I believe our president is kinda trying to divide us.”
In another example of Trumpism came last week at a Pennsylvania rally, he continued his attack on California Con. Maxine Waters, calling her, “Very low I.Q. low. Low I.Q.” All of this negativity was being promoted in front of cheering crowds.
And for those who thinks that it’s just politics – well it’s not. He goes after all critics, but he especially challenges the intellect of blacks and women. He has called Republican consultant Cheri Jacobus “really dumb” and “a real dummy.”
Of course, anyone with common sense knows that Trump is a very insecure man on top of being a undercover bigot. This is a man that has made fun of prisoners of war, special needs individuals, and continues to degrade minorities and women. How does he have such a large following?
Remember earlier this year he actually took the Presidency to another all time low. Trump suggested that the United States should seek immigrants from countries such as Norway instead of African and Latin American “%#&hole” nations. Hmmm… basic translation – Norway is full of white people and of course Africa is full of blacks and Latin America is full of Hispanics or undesirables in Trump’s eyes.
Wow! A sitting U.S. president actually used those words in a meeting in the White House. Every week there is something new, and this bad reality show called Donald Trump for President needs to be canceled because the ratings are abysmal.
The outlandish comments came out when Trump became frustrated at the White House meeting on immigration reform last week. The President had expressed some support over figuring out a way to keep “Dreamers” here in America, but he clearly didn’t like it when certain Congressmen brought up the need to protect immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan deal.
Sources from the meeting state the President said, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”
Of course, outrage has followed after such ludicrous and outright racists comments.
Meeting attendees also said that Trump stated, “Why do we need more Haitians? Take them out.”
Yeah, I am with you Donald. Who needs those lowly dark-skinned Haitians anyway? So what their country was devastated by a massive earthquake that killed hundreds and further ruined their economy – those are minor details. The Haitians must go back because they are not making America great again.
However, if we let more of those blonde-haired, blued eyed, pale skinned Swiss in to America then this country would clearly become a better place. The President and Chief has also become the chief bigot.
Oh by the way Mr. Trump, countries like Ireland were once considered “shithole” nations as well, but how many great Americans come from Irish ancestry?
I love columnist Eugene Robinson from The Washington Post. He started one of his recent articles saying, “If ignorance is bliss, then Trump must be very happy.”
Enough is enough people. My fellow Americans, whether you voted for the man or not, by not speaking out against his foolishness and bigotry you are showing tacit support to narrow-mindedness and lunacy.
Is Donald Trump mentally fit to serve a President? Will my kids be eating Papa John’s pizza anytime soon? Hell No.
