MSNBC: Ahead of Joe Biden’s first town hall, Texas voters are expressing skepticism about the former vice president’s 2020 run while some voters in South Carolina remain unfamiliar with California Senator Kamala Harris.
“Yeah, he’s ‘Uncle Joe,’ everybody likes their lovely uncle, but he’s Barack Obama’s friend, he’s got the cool black friend, that’s all it is,” one voter, a black man from Houston, said. “Joe has a terrible history in the black community, and everybody just loves him because he’s the fluffy old guy. He has given us no policies… I do like Joe Biden — as a vice president.”
