William M. Raines National Alumni Association, Inc. (WMRNAA) hosted its Red & Gray Ball over the weekend at the Omni Hotel. The annual affair was attended by 250 guests. Alumni arrived wearing red and gray semi formal attire and represented Raines Classes from 1966-2016.

The highlight of the evening was gala sponsor America Association Retired People (AARP) representative and Raines alumni Justine Conley presenting a check for $2,500 to WMRNAA for student scholarships. Another highlight was recognition of Richie Lynn Brown-Morris, Miss. Raines 1967 and the Class of 1967 on their 50th anniversary. Alumni all joined together in singing the school song. After dinner, alumni and friends danced the night away and fellowshipped with class members. Proceeds from the event supports Raines HS by providing scholarships for graduating seniors.
