NNOA Jacksonville Chapter Positively Impacts Students at Brentwood Elementary School – During Brentwood Elementary School of the Arts Literacy Week, National Naval Officers Association (NNOA) Jacksonville Chapter members Lieutenant Commander Tim Campbell, a Navy pilot on the P-8 Poseidon aircraft and Lieutenant Diego McKnight a Navy pilot on the MH-60R Seahawk helicopter participated by reading to students and sharing their life’s experiences.  The students were very excited to have a role model and “celebrity” visit their class for a day.  Lieutenant Commander Campbell and Lieutenant McKnight’s level of commitment to students is ongoing as the NNOA also donates school supplies to Brentwood at the beginning of each school year. The students quipped, “this is awesome” and enjoyed the visit.  NNOA Jacksonville Chapter has been making a significant impact in the Jacksonville community for many years by building and enhancing positive relationships between the military services and the local community, and enriching the lives of children.  NNOA Jax participates at Brentwood’s reading/recognition events when called upon and are scheduled to participate at the St. Francis Soup Kitchen on February 27th.
