Lady Trojans Honored by the Governor

The Lady Trojans Girls Basketball team at Jean Ribault Senior High School were honored in Tallahassee by Governor Rick Scott, State Representative Mia L. Jones, State Representative Reggie Fullwood, State Senator Audrey Gibson and the entire Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate for winning the Florida high school girls basketball Class 5A state championship and being selected to play in the National Tournament on April 1st in New York at Madison Square Gardens.
 
Accompanying the students were Ribault Trojans’ Principal Chris Jackson, Athletic Director Pakethia McDaniel, Head Coach Shelia Seymore-Pennick, Assistant Coaches Terrance Simmons and Anthony Flynn, Athletic Assistant Siottis Jackson, former Head Coach and FHSAA Hall of Famer Alfred Austin, Coach Austin’s Assistant Coach Marvin Wilson and the families of these talented ladies.
