Kirk Franklin 20 Years of Music Tour Made you Wanna Shout!

Kirk Franklins 20 Years in One Night Tour stop in Jacksonville was a musical odyssey of songs written and performed over the gospel artist 20 year career. Christian hip hop, contemporary gospel artist Kirk Franklin entered the stage lit with fire, dancing and giving praise to God for his many blessings. Kirk spoke to the crowd on his career and the blessings bestowed upon him as an artist, a husband, father and musician. Kirks humble beginnings began as an adopted four years old. Kirk adopted mother passed away before his 20th birthday without the opportunity to hear any of his albums. “This lady adopted me; I never knew my birth parents. She had a 4th grade education and was smarter than most. She took time with me, she paid for my piano lessons, I am forever grateful that she was my mother,” said Franklin.

Thousands of church members from around Duval were in attendance singing along with Kirk, waving hands in the air and becoming emotional with tears, while rejoicing in the aisles. The 20 years of music concert lasted four hours, with an intermission and another set of his hit songs. After the show, Kirk signed autographs and took photos with fans.
