Members of Jacksonville (FL) Alumnae was selected Chapter of the Year in the Large Category during the 45th Southern Regional Conference of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Held at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida July 14 -17, the conference welcomed more than 3,000 members from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Bahamas. Jacksonville (FL) Alumnae Chapter has been serving the Jacksonville community for more than 70 years in the areas of economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health in addition to and political awareness and involvement.
