Last weekend, Harvey and Jimmie P. Harper celebrated a feat that not many accomplish – their 60th anniversary. Celebrating with their children, the couple was married August 29, 1958 at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church. Their children are Beverly Harper (Greensboro, N.C), Joyce Quiller (Stone Mountain, GA), Heather Carter and James Ellis. They have been blessed with six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. “We were in love, we had a vision and was willing to work hard to achieve that vision,” said the Harpers in unison.
