The Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission had a free dinner and celebration, Saturday, February 20, at IBEW Union Hall on Liberty Street. The event was the culmination of a week of hard work and activities remembering what was, what is and what can be in the near future. Honoring our past is indeed the foundation / spring board that will vault us and our off springs into a future that is bright filled with promising expectations.
