Empowered Teen Fashionistas Shop Till They Dropped!

Last weekend Empowerment Resources Inc. treated young ladies to a ‘fashionista’ shopping spree event at Charming Charlie at the Avenues Mall. Participants entered the store after hours and shopped till they dropped in honor of excelling in and out of the classroom! A fashion expert was on hand offering consultations for the attendees. Founded in 2002, Empowerment Resources, Inc. is a grassroots non-profit organization in Jacksonville, Florida that serves at-risk youth and families by providing programs and services that positively impact the whole family. ERI provides programming for children and their parents that builds personal resiliency through education, awareness, and hands-on discovery. Pictured is ERI Youth Advisory Council Members Deyona Brown, Arden Williams, Tierra Wise and ERI Executive Director Elexia Coleman-Moss.
