Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson Reunites with Several Kidnapped Nigerian School Girls Who Escaped from Boko Haram

Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24) reunited with several of the kidnapped Nigerian school girls who escaped from the clutches of the terrorist group Boko Haram. The girls visited with Congresswoman Wilson in her D.C. office.

“I am delighted to see these brave and wonderful young girls again. They’ve experienced unspeakablehorrors that no child should ever have to endure just because they want and deserve an education.  I am also happy to announce that girls have been given scholarships to attend schools in the United States to continue their education.” She said. “We still tweet daily, #bringbackourgirls, for the safe return of the kidnapped Nigerian school girls.  We have a large and supportive following and our purpose is to show the world that Boko Haram is a major threat.”
