Community members joined to celebrate the Grand Opening for New Florida Majority’s (NewFM) new space in Northeast Jacksonville last week. Area elected officials joined constituents to tour the facility and enjoy food and live music. The New Florida Majority, established in Jacksonville in 2011, focuses on voter registration and voter education campaigns. In 2018, NewFM was an integral part of the Win Justice Campaign, which mobilized infrequent voters in black and Latino communities across the state.
