The Clara White Mission led a coalition of organization and companies to host the 21st Annual “December to Remember” Christmas Party, dedicated to lifting the spirits of five deserving families.
Held last weekend at the Legends Community Center, over 60 applications were submitted for the consideration as a December to Remember honoree. Five deserving families were selected and their heart felt compelling stories were read and shared with radio listeners for two weeks. The radio station and community organizations celebrated the families with a special luncheon at the event. In addition, each child was provided with their Christmas “wish list” items gifted by their own personal Santa Claus. The afternoon was filled with holiday cheer and a surprise gift of $500.00 and gift cards were presented by local benefactors
