Wounded Warrior Project Carry Forward 5K
Spend Veterans Day weekend with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) at the WWP Carry Forward 5K, delivered by CSX – one of the most unique and powerful events you’ll ever experience. Join Wounded Warrior on Saturday, November 9th as they put the WWP mission in motion and honor and empower wounded warriors.
There are three ways to show your support while you run or walk at Carry Forward:
1. Carry a flag to show support and patriotism
2. Carry a weight to represent the responsibilities veterans carry while serving our country
3. Carry another person to symbolize one warrior carrying another in their time of need
7:30 am Check-in Starts
8:30 am Opening Ceremony and 5K kickoff hosted by Action News Jax’s John Bachman. Bo Steele of The Band Steele will perform our National Anthem – you won’t want to miss it.
