Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter Inducts Six New Members

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter recently inducted six new sisters into their chapter with a celebratory weekend.  Throughout the past six months, the newly inducted women participated in a variety of sisterly activities and educational workshops to prepare them for membership in the revered Greek letter organization .

The community joined in the festivities by participating in the induction reception held at the Beaver Street Enterprise Center with over 100 guests sharing in the celebration. Guests witnesses a program including dinner, new member serenade, chapter history and review of their community achievements.
In addition to their new members, the chapter has a lot to celebrate. This month, Beta Alpha Chapter will celebrate 75 years at their home location on Moncreif Rd. Next year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. will celebrate their centennial anniversary with a year long list of festivities culminating with the Centennial Gran Boule, “The Blue and White Take Over,” scheduled for June 23rd – 28th in Washington D.C. The sorority was founded January 16, 1920, at Howard University, Washington, D.C.  Next up for the chapter is their annual Community Pearls Luncheon, taking place, Saturday, April 13th at 11:30 a.m. at the Doubletree Hilton, 2102 Dixie Clipper Dr.
