The former Linda Bennett and Erick T. Johnson met many years ago as dance partners.
The couple would dance to the tunes of the 70’s and 80’s and somehow knew that dancing was their key to a long life. Years later the couple reunited and started dating and reminiscing of their days on the dance floor. After dancing the two-step, Erick proposed to Linda and next thing you know the disco ball fell and officiating pastor Tasha Mervin had pronounced them man and wife.
The couple were married last weekend at Fairfield Marriott in Orange Park. The wedding party consisted of four close friends dressed in black and white with a dash of red.
The bride is a Licensed Practical Nurse employed at Peaches in a Basket Adult Day Care Center and the Groom is an engineer specialist employed at Advanced Disposal.
Soon after Erick kissed the bride, the couple hit the dance floor and vowed they would continue to dance until heaven do them apart.
The couple culminated their nuptials with a four day cruise to the Bahamas.
