Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Gamma Rho Omega Chapter Incorporated participated in the Walk To End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, November 7th. The Alzheimer’s Association mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Health Promotions Committee is chaired by LeVon Burnett andJulia Paul; Alzheimer’s Activity leads Pauline Davis and Stephania Sykes-Burns and Chapter members and friends raised over $1200 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
